Sade Bamimore (she/her) is a published author based in New York City. Sade hopes that her first book, Reimagining Systems for a Sustainable Future, inspires readers toward sustainability action. Apart from writing, Sade is a Sustainability Consultant and a DE&I Council Member at ERM. Prior to ERM, she worked in nature-based solutions at United Nations Development Programme. In early 2022, Sade was recognized as a GreenBiz Emerging Leader by GreenBiz Group.

Sade enjoys immersive travel and learning about sustainability on a global scale. She has developed a broadened scope on what it means to live and act within planetary boundaries through her studies of Sustainable Development and Environmental Science in Denmark, Sweden, Costa Rica, Chile, and Peru. Sade earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a Certificate in Human Needs and Global Resources from Wheaton College in Illinois in May 2019.

Sade finds purpose in seeking solutions to the challenges of integrating sustainability into all levels of society in a way that will advance a shift in the world’s current systems. She is fascinated by the possibilities in businesses, policies, laws, cities, and innovation, and the nexus between them that create paths toward a more just, resilient, and sustainable world.
